many thanks for your comment. My own worldcat-list-attempt is not so serious, I just want to figure out if OCLC is becoming a real competitor to services like CiteULike or LibraryThing. In short: I guess that the Open WorldCat list feature has the potential to grow up to something like this. I’m going to observe and report about this development here at the netbib weblog.
By the way: I like your reading list, especially for considering also books like “The social life of information” and “The anarchist in the library”.

Forgive me that I do not read German, so I am viewing your text in translation. This is a most interesting project of yours: I am honored that my beginning WorldCat bibliography on the 100 Best Readings on Library & Information Studies is included (and it reminds me to note that my bibliography is a very limited one in that it includes only English-language works!) Erst nach dem Schreiben ist mir aufgefallen, daß sowohl Edlef als auch Jürgen (zumindest mittelbar) die neue Listenfunktion hier schon mal gemeldet hatten.
@Jintan: Vielen Dank! Meine Literaturliste ist nur so ein Testobjekt, sie enthält nicht exakt die Literatur zum Thema, die ich empfehlen würde. Aber demnächst bringe ich auch noch eine richtige Recommended-Reading-Liste…

Hi Lambert, wieder was gelernt! mir persönlich gefällt die neue Funktion von WorldCat sehr gut. Ich kann vorstellen, dass das WorldCat auch als ein (social) Literaturverwaltungssystem zu benutzen. Besser wäre, wenn ich deine Bibliothek2.0 Literatur exportieren kann:-)
